2004 Absolute Memorabilia Vladimir Guerrero Spectrum Auto /100
Vladdy has always been one of my favorite non-Yankees players, and seeing him and his team succeed this year was great for baseball. He is one of the best hitters in our era that has not had any steroid/HGH allegations, and was just a natural talent. He is by far the best hitter I have ever seen at swinging at balls outside the strike zone! His career batting average to this date is .320, with 436 home runs, and 1,433 RBI. He reminds me of an Andre Dawson or Jim Rice, one of those threatening hitters that WILL hit the ball out of the park on any given day. Plus he has a great attitude and has fun with the game.
This card from 2004 Absolute Memorabilia is numbered 47/100. It was made the year Vladimir won the MVP, with a .337 BA, 39 home runs, and 126 RBI. The shine to this card is amazing, like many of the mid-2000's Donruss cards. I bought the card for less than $15.00 and will definitely hang onto it!
See Ya!

That is a nice looking card, good pick up.
ReplyDeleteNice pickup Drew. I had a 2000 SPx auto of him and regret trading it away now.
ReplyDeleteI'm a fan of Vladdy too. Sure wish he had signed with the Os a while back, but ended up with the Angels instead. Oh well. Great card, dude!!
