Rick Wise played in the Little League World Series in the late fifties. Was he the first one to play in the majors?
ReplyDeleteI think Tom Seaver played in Little League. If not, Nolan Ryan did. Don't know if they were the first HOFers, but that is my guess.
ReplyDeleteNope, both are incorrect, sorry
ReplyDeleteI guess it would have to be someone inducted before Seaver. Johnny Bench, I think I remember reading that he played Legion ball in OK or Catfish. There careers started about the same time as Seaver's and their ages are about right. No clue on the answer for the first question.
ReplyDeleteNope!
